Sunset Engagement Session | Westerville Ohio

Stephanie and Carter booked their wedding with me back in 2020, and we were finally able to get out and take some sunset photos over at Hoover Dam in Westerville Ohio! We focused on natural poses and promptography, with playful and fun prompts like “practice your first dance” and “Tell stephanie what made you fall in love with her!” They will be getting married in October this year at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City Ohio!

My engagement sessions include a questionnaire to help me get to know them and decide what background would work perfectly for my couples! I also include lots of engagement session tips and advice in my wedding welcome guide that is included with all of the wedding couples who book with me. Stephanie and Carter studied hard and did amazing on their outfit planning!

Planning your engagement session?
Consider neutral colors like brown, tan, black, cream, olive green, maroon, etc. These go with any location background and give a good neutral, earthy feel to your photos, blending well with my editing style.
Use your engagement session as a trail run with your hair and makeup artist- and go out on a dinner date afterwards, maybe try out a new resturaunt!
I like to schedule my engagement sessions during prime lighting time (golden hour), an hour before the sun sets.
